The Brief
Working with Jag at Xpand, the aim was simple: show the personality and professionalism behind PS Projects.
They’re a family-run shopfitting outfit with serious big-business experience, so we wanted images that feel
bright, modern, and approachable — the sort of photos that make a website feel human.
- Clean headshots on white for maximum placement flexibility.
- Each person photographed at their desk in “doing the job” mode.
- Collaboration vibes: a teammate (often Sean, Katie, or Nathan) joining each person at the desk.
- Team sequences around drawings and plans to show process.
- Classic “war room” stance with Sean leading — urgency without the drama.
- A distinctive group shot using a drone for something a bit different.
The Space
Their office is a gift for photography: white walls, white tables, big windows. Bright, clean, and perfect for
that modern look. The sun in Stockton was intense, so for the group shot we moved to the shaded side of the
building — no squinting, no tears, just even light and happy eyes.
How We Shot It
- Warm-up & headshots: White-wall portraits for consistent, cut-out-friendly assets.
- Desk/action portraits: Natural working moments, lightly directed so everything feels real.
- Collaboration frames: A teammate joins each person — quick chat, point at the screen, job done.
- Drawings & planning: Gathered around plans to show decision-making and detail.
- “War room” energy: Stand-up huddle with Sean leading — confident, to the point.
- Drone group shot: DJI Mini 5 Pro, shaded side of the building for clean light.
Most of the team aren’t used to being photographed (builders and joiners don’t do glam), so we made it a bit of
a laugh. Tethered shooting to a laptop helped — everyone could see the results, throw in honest feedback, and
relax. The fun shows in the final images.
People & Culture
“Keep it real, keep it useful.” That was the day. A close-knit team, plenty of banter, and genuine smiles once the nerves wore off.
Because they’re on-site a lot, the office set is key for the website — it anchors the brand in
something tangible: good people, organised space, serious work.
What We Delivered
