Case Study: Capturing the Dynamic Spirit of Pro Development in York

Client: Pro Development, a York-based team focused on enhancing team performance through innovative events and executive leadership development.

Objective:

The aim of the photo shoot was to capture the Pro Development team in action, create new headshots, team images, and update their stock photos for refreshed marketing and website materials.

Approach:

Our approach was designed to highlight the vibrant and engaging nature of Pro Development’s work environment, as well as the stunning rural location just south of Leeds.

Stage 1: Engaging Props and Natural Reactions

We began by setting up a variety of props and equipment such as hats, musical instruments, balloons, Lego, bow ties, waistcoats, and chocolate coins. By inviting small groups of 4 or 5 team members to interact with these items, we captured their natural reactions and interactions. This method effectively eased the team into the photo shoot, creating authentic, candid moments that reflect the fun and collaborative spirit of Pro Development.

Stage 2: Simulated Meetings and Group Sessions

Next, we orchestrated a series of pretend meetings around the boardroom table to simulate real group sessions. This setup allowed us to capture the essence of Pro Development’s positive and interactive team-building experiences, showcasing how their services foster engagement and teamwork.

Stage 3: Outdoor Activities and Team Building

Taking advantage of the beautiful countryside surrounding their location, we photographed the team engaging in one of their team-building games involving guttering and a golf ball. Additionally, we captured full team photographs against a rustic fence and playful shots of team members walking in a locomotion chain. These images not only highlight the picturesque setting but also the innovative and enjoyable nature of Pro Development’s activities.

Stage 4:

Individual Headshots We concluded with individual headshots, ensuring everyone was comfortable and relaxed after the previous fun activities. This approach resulted in natural and confident portraits that reflect the professionalism and approachability of each team member.

Special Shots:

The final images of the day featured the wonderful owner, Michelle, and her business partner, Tracy, capturing their leadership and partnership in a relaxed and engaging manner.

Results:

The final collection of photographs successfully encapsulates the dynamic spirit and engaging work environment of Pro Development. The images showcase the team’s collaborative energy, the beautiful rural setting, and the innovative team-building activities. These photos provide a fresh and vibrant visual narrative for Pro Development’s marketing and website materials.
